In this case study we will show the results of working with an OnlyFans agency. Attracting new models and subscribers to OnlyFans profiles is a priority for any agency, but Meta moderation rules do not allow advertising of 18+ erotic content.

That's why this OnlyFans-agency approached us, as they knew that we could easily bypass Meta moderation and run adverts with any photo and video content.
About the project:

OnlyFans-agency, which is engaged in promotion of OnlyFans pages (by text OF) of its models. As a rule on such pages girls publish their explicit photos and videos, for viewing which men pay money. Therefore, this business needs to have a constant flow of new subscribers to OF pages, as well as attracting new models.

The agency allocated 3.900$ advertising budget, of which 1.500$ for finding models, 2.400$ for attracting new subscribers to the OF pages


Goals of the advertising campaign:
  • Attract a minimum of 3 girls who would agree to work for the agency
  • To bring solvent subscribers to OF pages from USA, Canada, England and Australia.

Stages of implementation of the advertising campaign:

As this is not the first OF agency we are promoting, we already had a defined strategy for launching the advertising campaign. In this project we had 2 directions in advertising: models and subscribers. Let's tell you about each of them in order:

Attracting models

Stage 1: Creating and launching unique adverts to bypass Meta moderation.

The funnel for attracting new girls to the agency consisted of an ad in Instagram and Facebook, interested girls got to the lead-form, in which they had to fill in their contact details, after sending the application, the contact information instantly went to the chat managers and they already contacted the girl and started communication.

When creating an advert we could clearly specify what kind of content we needed from the girl, what kind of earnings per month, etc. The background for creative we often chose erotic examples of photos of models from OF, so that girls could see what photos they need to publish. All these actions we did to maximise the quality of the incoming requests from girls. Yes, it increased the price of the submission, but we always aim for the return on advertising, not the number of submissions.

Stage 2: Analysing and scaling ad campaigns

After the first day of running the adverts, we received over 20 applications at $2.5 - $3. Some requests were untargeted, but every day we took feedback from managers and added new meanings to the adverts to improve the quality of requests. After 4 days of running ads, we found the best ads and started scaling our ad campaigns to increase the number of targeted applications.

In this project, the advertising budget for model search was only $1500 and we ran ads from a single office.

For 30 days of cooperation we spent 1540$ advertising budget and received 517 applications for OF model vacancy, average price of application was 3,01$. Of course, out of 517 applications, the real ones turned out to be 463 of them 318 responded to the first message. At the moment 8 models have already started working and 4 are in communication. We always aim at return on advertising and in this case our main result is $192 for the model who started working with the agency.
Our cooperation continues and now we are testing new advertising hypotheses for our new tasks.


Now we can move on to another advertising objective, namely:
Attracting new subscribers to OF pages

Stage 1: Creating and running unique adverts to bypass Meta moderation

The main request of all requests to our agency is to attract new subscribers to OF pages. This is logical, as it is the subscribers who bring all the profit to agencies. We have quite a lot of experience in attracting new subscribers to OF pages and we are constantly searching for new hypotheses, as there is a constant struggle for subscribers' attention on the market.

We have tested a lot of funnels, so for example we ran traffic to:
  • OF direct link (with paid and free subscriptions)
  • Inst model profile, in which there was a warm-up to subscribe to OF
  • direct correspondence (in which a native chatbot was prepared, which communicated with the subscriber and translated the communication to OF)
  • closed profile Inst (people leave a request for subscription, you do not accept these requests and as soon as 5.000-10.000 requests for subscription are accumulated you accept all these requests at once and your account just "explodes" from organic views and on this you can get up to 100.000 subscribers, which you can further transfer to the OF page.

In our opinion, the most effective option is to attract traffic to the Inst model profile with subsequent warming up to subscription to the OF profile. This choice is due to the fact that the subscriber wants to first get to know the model and evaluate her content, and after that subscribe to her OF profile.

We know that from Inst and Facebook subscribers come out more expensive than from the same Reddit or TikTok, but in our case we can choose specific cities and states for advertising, i.e. choose the most affluent areas of the US, Canada, Australia, etc. And that gives us an ROI advantage in advertising over other traffic sources.

There are several nuances in creating advertising creatives to attract subscribers, firstly we need to create an attractive creative that will catch the attention of men, and secondly we need to not overdo the "attractiveness" of the creative, namely with the demonstration of the female body. We can bypass moderation with any creative, but we also need to ensure that it is shown without interruption, and if the ad receives a large number of complaints, it will simply be blocked manually.

This is why we have used such creatives in our adverts, examples are shown below
Stage 2: Analysing and scaling advertising campaigns

From the first days of the advertising launch, we started getting a huge number of cheap subscribers to our models' Inst profiles. In these profiles every day we published stories, posts, Reels videos, subscribers got to know the model better and after a while they clicked on the link in the profile header and subscribed to the OF profile. We also posted a link to OF in the profile stories every few days.

Since even the ad creatives were still getting complaints, we ran ads from multiple ad accounts for uninterrupted traffic. In the screenshot below, you can see the results of advertising campaigns to attract subscribers from one of the accounts.

In 30 days of cooperation, we spent $2,370 advertising budget and got 879 subscribers to free OF pages. The price per subscriber was $2.69, which is quite expensive compared to other types of traffic, but our main goal is to maximise the return on advertising investment, so we always look at the final profit of our advertising, in our case it's profit from private content and renewal of the user's already paid subscription after the free period.

For the last month the profit from the pages, on which we launched traffic increased in total by $8.500, but you need to understand that subscribers who came from our advertising with a greater likelihood to continue to follow the model and pay, as a subscription to the account and private content. According to the agency manager, 3 whales came from our adverts and started to buy almost all the content of the models, which can not but please. We have once again made sure that although Instagram and Facebook subscribers are more expensive than other types of traffic, but our advantage in setting up adverts for affluent areas is paying off and our clients are very happy about it.

We are continuing our partnership with this agency and are starting to increase our advertising budget and the number of models for whom ads are run.

Overall results of the first month of co-operation:

Based on the goals of the advertising campaign with the OF agency, namely:
  • Attract a minimum of 3 girls who will agree to work for the agency
  • To bring solvent subscribers to OF pages from USA, Canada, England and Australia.
We can confidently state that the objectives of the cooperation have been achieved and even exceeded. All our hypotheses have been confirmed and the results of the cooperation are satisfactory for both parties, so we continue our cooperation and start scaling our advertising campaigns to get even more profit from the advertising investment.

Such good results come from many years of experience with Facebook and Instagram, during this time we have tested a huge number of adverts and funnels, and we are constantly looking for and testing new approaches, as the market obliges us not to stand still and develop with it.
